MNI: Construction spending for the month of April....>

MNI: Construction spending for the month of April fell -2.9%, coming in well
beneath the -6.0% downturn expected by markets. The drop, however, was still the
largest since October 2018 when construction spending fell -3.2%. During the
first quarter of 2020, construction spending reached $412.5 billion which is
7.1% above spending for the same period in 2019. Last month's spending was also
revised down to nearly flat growth after previously showing 0.9% growth in the
last Census Bureau report.
