MNI: Dutch Cabinet Deal Submitted For Approval - Press

MNI (London)
By Tara Oakes
BRUSSELS (MNI) - Netherlands Prime Minister Mark Rutte and partners have
come up with a coalition deal and submitted it to their groups for approval,
local press declared, saying the waiting was finally over.
According to de Volkskrant, Rutte told journalists he was "very happy" at
the shape of the agreement.
The deal will bring together his VVD party with the centre-right CDA, the
liberal D66 and ChristianUnie (CU) parties in a four-group ruling coalition.
For De Telegraaf, it isn't over until it's over: parties now have their own
opportunity to scrutinise the draft deal. If approved, Rutte's cabinet could be
in place in a matter of weeks but would have only 76 of the seats in the
150-seat house.
