Wednesday sees a pick up in data releases, with Spanish flash inflation at 0800BST

The calendar gets underway at 0700BST, with the release of the MNI China Liquidity Index, which will give a look at whether the cash market is seen as tighter into quarter end.

At 0800BST, Spanish September flash inflation is due, with expectations for a pick up to 3.5% y/y from 3.3% in August. At 0830BST, the Swedish Economic Tendency Indicator will be published.

UK data expected at 0930BST includes the latest mortgage lending data and the M4 money supply. Mortgage approvals are seen slowing to 73,000 from 75200 in August.

There is a full list of speakers, helped by the continuing ECB forum. President Christine Lagarde is slated to speak, alongside Fed chair Jay Powell. Other speakers Wednesday include New York Fed's John Williams, SF Fed's Mary Daly and Atlanta Fed's Raphael Bostic.
