MNI POLICY: China to Maintain Prudent Monetary Policy: PBOC

MNI (Beijing)
BEIJING (MNI) - China will maintain prudent monetary policy and won't
pursue stimulus policies through "flood of credit" even as advanced economies
are pushing further with easing, Yi Gang, the governor of the People's Bank of
China, said at a press conference in Beijing on Tuesday.
China's economy is "reasonable with inflation moderate ," Yi said, when asked
about China's reaction to easing policies including that by the European Central
Bank.
Looking into future, those economies pursuing normal monetary policies will
likely be the "shining points" and do better, said Yi.
