  • Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) immediately moved on “Plan B,” a ‘clean’ USD$95 billion national security supplemental package but adjourned the Senate after failing to secure the requisite votes. He will try again today, needing to flip two Republicans.
  • A US drone strike in Baghdad yesterday killed a senior leader of an Iran-backed militant group accused of carrying out an attack which killed three US personnel.
  • Secretary of State Antony Blinken said at a press conference in Tel Aviv yesterday that there is, "some space for agreement to be reached” on an Israel-Hamas ceasefire proposal despite Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appearing to reject the process hours earlier.
  • The US Supreme Court will hear arguments today on Colorado’s decision to remove former Trump from the 2024 ballot.
  • The Senate energy committee will today probe Deputy Secretary of Energy David Turk on the Biden Administration’s decision to pause LNG export approvals.
  • Trump will sweep the delegates in the Nevada Republican caucuses today. More interestingly, for the overall Republican race, Trump and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley are both on the ballot for today’s caucuses in the Virgin Islands.
  • Poll of the Day: Democrat Tom Suozzi holds a slim advantage over Republican Mazi Pilip in polling on the upcoming New York special election.
