MNI: T-Notes and USD/CNH have edged higher on the back of BBG headlines which
noted that "CHINA'S XI PLANS TO SKIP DAVOS, DEFLATING HOPE FOR TRUMP SUMMIT' but
the piece has noted that China still plans to send Liu He to DC in Jan to sign
the phase 1 deal.
- The moves are very small.
- N.B. "Our insight piece yesterday noted China will focus on finalising and
implementing its
preliminary trade deal reached with the U.S., rather than rushing into more
difficult phase two talks as has been suggested by President Donald Trump,
government advisors told MNI."
