SOUTH KOREA

South Korean President Moon names former minister Kim Boo-Kyum as Prime Minister in the aforementioned reshuffle, after potential presidential candidate Chung Sye-kyun resigned. Moon also names new commerce, labour and land ministers.

  • It appears Finance Minister Hong has kept his position, earlier this month he was expected to be replaced. Moon's approval rating has fallen to a record low of 30% according to a Gallup poll after a housing scandal and mayoral defeats in two key cities.
