Newsweek: US Warns Ukraine Of Major Assault In Next 48 Hours

Anexclusive Newsweek articlehas claimed that US gov't officials have warned the administration of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that a full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine is likely to take place in the next 48 hours.

• Newsweek report states: "...that the invasion will include not only a push from the pro-Moscow rebel-held Donbas region in the east, where additional Russian units were sent Monday as peacekeepers, but also a major thrust toward the capital Kyiv from the northern border with Belarus...."
• Article claims that the attack would likely be preceeded by sizeable cyber attacks, something that wires and social media are reporting (unconfirmed) that Ukraine is currently being subjected to, with the article stating: "Shortly after Newsweek was made aware of these U.S. assessments, the websites for Ukraine's Defense Ministry, Foreign Ministry and other institutions abruptly went offline in what signaled a potential sweeping cyber attack, which would add to a series of apparent cyber assaults that the White House has publicly blamed on Moscow."
