US DATA: Nonfarm payrolls -33k in September, first drop since Sept. 2010, 
private jobs -40k, both well below expectations, unemp rate -0.2 to 4.2%, 
participation rate +0.2 to 63.1%, -38k net revision to July-August jobs. 
Average hourly earnings +0.5% vs +0.2% in August for y/y rate of +2.9%. 
BLS said they cannot quantify the hurricane impact at the national level, 
but there are signs. Foods services and drinking places jobs -104,700, 
while the unadjusted workers not at work in household survey 1.474m, 
high since Jan. 1996. BLS said survey collection rates in normal range. 
Overall, a weak report but one that likely indicates temporary factors 
that markets and the Fed will likely take with a grain of salt.
