Norway’s Johan Sverdrup 2 Resumed Output On 20 Jan

Johan Sverdrup phase 2 resumed production on 20 Jan following repairs to the power supply system, Equinor said.

  • Phase 2 halted output on 12 Jan because of a technical issue related to one of the power lines.
  • Sverdrup’s second process platform began production in mid-December. It has a capacity of 185kbpd although it had not reached this level yet ahead of the outage.
