Norway’s September Oil, Gas Production At Lowest This Year

Norway’s total liquids production in September fell to the lowest level so far this year amid a significant decline in natural gas production, NPD data showed.

  • Total liquids production fell to 1.802mbpd, 6.6% below the forecast and down from 2.013mbpd in August. Total output was also down by 1.8% year on year.
  • September oil production stood 4.8% below the forecast at 1.644mbpd, down by 8.2% from august levels. Oil output stood 0.2% above September 2022 levels.
  • Natural gas production last month stood at 199.8mcm/d, compared with the forecast of 319.1mcm/d. This was down by 36% from August levels and by 34.2% from September 2022 levels.
