US DATA: Nov final demand PPI +0.1% overall vs -0.1% expected and +0.3% 
ex food and energy vs +0.1% expected. PPI ex. food, energy, and 
trade services +0.3%. 
- The overall y/y rate of inflation fell in Nov to +2.5% from +2.9% in 
Oct, while PPI ex. food and energy +2.7% y/y, higher than +2.6% in Oct. 
PPI ex, food, energy, and trade services +2.8% y/y, unchanged from +2.8% 
in Oct.
- Energy prices -5.0% in the month (largest since Sept 2015) on declines 
in most categories, with liquefied petroleum gas -27.9% and gasoline 
-14.0%, while trade services +0.3%, and food prices +1.3%. Cell phone 
and wireless services prices +4.7%, a record high.
- The personal consumption price measures, often used to preview CPI 
and PCE prices was -0.1% overall, +0.4% ex. food and energy, and +0.3% 
ex. food, energy, and trade services, with y/y gains all still above 2%.
