EURO-DOLLAR: *Nov8 Euro-dollar open $1.1587, range $1.1586 tp $1.1606
*Euro opened in Asia toward the middle of the $1.1554 to $1.1616 range witnessed
yesterday, where a stronger US dollar and disappointing German Industrial
Production data, production contracted by 1.6% m/m, against consensus of -0.9%
m/m was seen to weigh on the single currency.
*Shortly after the open, Euro traded up from $1.1586 to $1.1606, with an article
in the Washington Post seen driving modest US dollar weakness and softer US rate
yields, the article said, Senate Republican leaders are considering a one-year
delay in the implementation of a major corporate tax cut, the paper cited four
people familiar with a draft legislation.
*For the balance of the session the Euro consolidated between $1.1592-99
*Close-by option strikes include; $1.1545-55(E$1.1bn), 1.1600(E911mn) and
$1.1640(E753mn)
*Support is located at $1.1554 (Nov7 low), with protection again expected ahead
of the $1.1550 option barrier, while resistance is found at $1.1616 (Nov7 high).
