Nuclear Output Falls 2.2GW On Strikes

Output at France’s nuclear reactor has been more heavily reduced on Wednesday, curbing capacity by 2.195GW, compared to previous strike days this week, EdF remit data show.

  • Output at St Laurent 1 Bugey 3, Flamanville 2, Chinon 2 and Cruas 2 has been reduced by a total of 2.195GW on Wednesday morning.
  • Nuclear output has been little affected during industrial action this week.
  • Hydropower output has been curbed by 7.68GW.
  • Strike action at EdF’s sites is scheduled to end on Wednesday 9m.
