KIWI: NZD taking a hit as RBNZ Gov. Orr states that a rate cut is a valid
possibility N.B. the RBNZ MonPol statement released earlier noted that "the
direction of our next move is equally balanced, up or down. Only time and events
will tell."
- Orr also noted that the NZD is not unusually high or low at present & stressed
that he wants to see a pickup in core inflation before hiking rates.
- AUDNZD legs above 1.0800 and breaks the 55-WMA (1.0804), registering a high of
1.0811, while NZDUSD punches a fresh session low at 0.6911, with focus on the
Dec 12 2017 low (0.6899).
