US DATA: October factory orders -2.1%, slightly below the -2.0% exp, 
with durable goods orders revised up slightly to -4.3% from -4.4% in 
the advanced estimate, nondurable goods orders +0.3% on gains in 
petroleum and coal products, printing, and textile products. 
- Excluding -12.0% transportation orders, factory orders would have been 
+0.3%. Durables ex. trans. were revised up to +0.2% from +0.1% in the 
advanced estimate.
- Nondefense capital goods new orders -4.1%, but flat ex aircraft.    
- Total factory shipments were -0.1% in October, with nondefense capital
goods shipments -2.5%, but +0.3% ex aircraft.
- Factory inventories +0.1%, so combined with the advance estimates of 
+0.7% for wholesale inventories and +0.9% for retail inventories, this 
would result in +0.6% for business inventories.
