Off Lows, With Yields Off Highs And Chinese State Support Eyed

With equities, although there is the previously alluded to “risk-off” headline flow via Axios, yields moving off session highs and some stabilisation in crude oil futures are likely playing their part.

  • Elsewhere, RTRS noted that “China's state fund Central Huijin Investment said on Monday it had bought ETFs and would continue to increase ETF holdings in the future.” This would have supported risk assets in the background.
  • Benchmark global equity index futures move off lows as a result, leaving the 3 major e-minis 0.4-0.5% lower, while Euro Stoxx 50 futures -0.3%.
