OI Points To Limited SONIA Positioning Swings On Monday, With Risk Events Later This Week Eyed

STIR

The combination of yesterday's movement in SONIA futures and OI data points to the following net positioning swings.

  • Whites: Unchanged price status in most contracts make it hard to be sure when it comes to net positioning movement. SFIU4 seemed to see light net short cover.
  • Reds: Net long setting was seemingly seen in all contracts.
  • Greens & Blues: Little in the way of meaningful thematic positioning moves
  • Wednesday's CPI & Thursday's BoE decision dominate the local calendar this week.
