  • Turkish Cypriot opposition party (TPD) to boycott Erdogan's address to Parliament in Cyprus on July 20 due to Turkish attempts to establish a domineering relationship in the TNRC.
    • Another opposition party, the CTP, is also considering not attending the address.
    • Comes after Erdogan vowed to "send a strong message to the world" and US senators called on Biden to sanction Turkey, should Erdogan attempt to re-open Varosha in his visit to the TNRC
  • AKP spox Celik says the Taliban's recent statements (more like warnings) against Turkey regarding its presence in Afghanistan can be accepted as a communications mishap.
    • Celik reaffirmed that the Turkish force was not a combatant or occupying force, but there to try improve the standard of living
