Pelosi: Hope "Appropriations Piece" Of Bill Resolved Today

House Speaker Pelosi says on MSNBC that she will talk w Treas Sec Mnuchin at 1430ET on stimulus.

If they can get the appropriations settled today as she says she hopes (Reuters headline: "PELOSI SAYS HOPES TO RESOLVE 'APPROPRIATIONS PIECE' OF COVID-19 AID BILL LATER ON WEDNESDAY"), that would be important progress - suggests fundamental agreement between Pelosi and Mnuchin on what should be in the bill.

To put into perspective, yesterday Pelosi said there were some hangups on appropriations. From a BBG piece last night: "Talks among appropriations committee members stalled because the levels of spending in accounts they are trying to resolve are interlinked with with areas of disagreement in the core Pelosi-Mnuchin talks, according to aides in both parties."
