PERU: Petroperu Does Not Rule Out Staff Reductions

    As a reminder, on Thursday we reported that Petroperu may consider offering a minority stake to private investors in the second half of next year, once the company starts to make a profit, new Chairman Alejandro Narvaez said in an interview with Reuters.
  • Narvaez also said that he doesn’t intend to seek further financial support from the government during his administration. He added that the company still needs financing, given liquidity problems, but dismissed the option of any new bond issuance.
