Pfizer Says 'Temporary' Impact On Vaccine Shipment In Late Jan

Wires and social media reporting comments attributed to drug giant Pfizer that while it is 'working hard' to produce more doses of its COVID-19 vaccine than originally forecasted, the changes to its lines needed to boost production will 'temporarily impact' the firm's shipments of the vaccine in late January and early February.

  • Comments go on to say that these changes will allow for a much greater level of production from mid-February onwards with an aim of 2 billion doses produced in 2021.
