US DATA REACT: Post data position rebalancing/short covering appears to be
waning with long end Tsys settling in 8- to 10/32 off recent highs. "Once again,
lower unemployment rates are not translating into anything that resembles
aggregate wage pressures that traders can count on," FTN Financial Jim Vogel
said. "The problem," Vogel says, "is that all these numbers are supposed to
overcome monthly foibles of weather, seasonal hiring patterns, etc because of
accelerating core strength in the US economy. Those results wait for yet another
month."
