President Closed January With An Average Approval Rating of 27%

  • From the latest Cadem survey on the constituent process and Boric approval:
    • 67% agree that Chile needs a new Constitution, 3pts more than in December, versus 32% who disagree.
    • 43% have better expectations with this process in relation to the one carried out by the Constituent Convention, 30% have worse expectations and 23% have the same expectations.
    • The segments that show the greatest confidence in the process are young people between 18 and 34 years old (51%), the upper class (49%) and middle class (49%), those who identify with the center (57%) and those who voted for approval last September (52%).
    • The President closed the month of January with an average approval rating of 27%, 3pts less than in December, and 68% disapproval, 4pts more than last month.
