Presidential Election Looms, Hernandez On Tax Reform

  • Colombia needs a tax reform but one which will cut levies instead of increasing them, independent presidential candidate Rodolfo Hernandez told Blu Radio. (BBG)
    • The 77-year owner of a construction firm and former mayor of Bucaramanga said other presidential candidates propose tax increases to cover what has been stolen.
    • When asked who he would name as finance minister, he said he’d like economist Mauricio Cabrera though he hasn’t discussed it with Cabrera himself.
