ECB

STIR futures took another leg lower following the release of the flash French HICP data which came in a tenth above expectations.

  • In terms of ECB pricing, markets now look for around 22bp for the May meeting (up from 21bp yesterday) while the terminal rate is seen as a cumulative 66bp higher by the September meeting (it was 61bp by October at the close yesterday).
