CABLE: Probed below the earlier Asian base of $1.3170 in opening European trade,
the rate trading to $1.3165 but move failed to trigger any further major sales.
Rate has since edged back to $1.3175. Sterling had been seen under additional
pressure in Asia as markets there reacted to comments from US Trump about PM
May's Brexit plan and future trade with the US. PM May meets with US Trump at
Chequers today so market on headline watch. BoE Deputy Governor for Financial
Stability Cunliffe is due to speak at 1100GMT(regional visit to the North-West)
and will be watched for any MonPol comment. Break below $1.3170 exposes next
support at $1.3150. Resistance $1.3200/10.
