  • The National Statistics Institute are due to report industrial production, retail sales and copper output for May. Data will be released at 1400BST/0900ET:
    • May manufacturing prod.; est. -3.4%; prior -6.4%
    • May industrial prod.; est. -2.2%; prior -2%
    • May retail sales; est. -11%; prior -10.7%
    • May copper prod.; no est; prior 417,279 metric tons
  • The market attention will quickly turn to May economic activity (Imacec) and June CPI data next week. USDCLP moderately rose on Thursday to close around 803.50, however is seeing some initial weakness at today's open. The pair broadly continues to oscillate either side of 800, with the pair remaining in consolidation mode and respecting its short-term technical parameters.
