States that Russia will expand its foreign ties to create 'new logistics corridors'. Says that Russia will develop ports on the Black and Azov Seas. Putin: 'We expect cooperation to enhance with India, Iran, Pakistan.'

  • Clear effort to reorient Russian economy towards China, south Asia, and southeast Asia. The US and its allies also trying to boost relations with India and draw it onto the 'western side'. However, Modi gov't seems content to continue to interact and trade with Russia as well as western nations.
