Q: How much weekly PEPP fluctuations in buying should markets expect?

Once the PEPP ends, inflation will be slowing down again. At what point do you need to consider taking additional steps to boost inflation over the medium term?

A: The GC has decided to expect net purchases over the quarter to continue to be conducted at a 'significantly higher' pace than during the first months of 2021. We are going to do that according to market conditions, which includes seasonality.
For the second question, it is premature and unnecessary to now discuss longer term issues and these have not been discussed by the GC.
