EURO-DOLLAR: Rate last deals ~15 pips higher at $1.1443. Little in the way of
idiosyncratic matters to drive EUR evident in the last 24 hours, with the rate
broadly tracking the wider USD theme over that time. The ECB tipped its hat to
increasing downside risks to the economy in its latest economic bulletin.
- Initial resistance noted at the 76.4% retracement of the move from $1.1496 to
$1.1356 at $1.1455, followed by the December 21 high of $1.1474. Conversely,
initial support is noted at the cloud base of $1.1388.
- Looking ahead, German CPI data will hit later today.
