EURO-DOLLAR: Rate not enjoying the sharp decline in Hesse and Bavarian CPI for
December CPI. Rate erases the day's gains and pulls back to trade at $1.1441 on
last check. Data in so far will call into question the ability of the German
national CPI number to hit expectations of 0.3% m/m and 1.9% y/y. North-Rhine
Westphalia figures up next at 0930GMT, with Rhineland-Palatinate and Baden
Wuerttemberg at some point before the national number at 1300GMT.
