  • Asian stocks fell sharply Thursday, with Japan's NIKKEI down 437.79 pts or -1.53% at 28197.42 and the TOPIX down 21.22 pts or -1.14% at 1838.85. China's SHANGHAI closed down 68.165 pts or -1.91% at 3505.176 and the HANG SENG ended 746.76 pts lower or -2.55% at 28550.77.
  • European stocks are in the red, with the German Dax down 212.24 pts or -1.56% at 13492.16, FTSE 100 down 88.49 pts or -1.35% at 6567.37, CAC 40 down 50.46 pts or -0.92% at 5459.62 and Euro Stoxx 50 down 41.52 pts or -1.17% at 3509.2.
  • U.S. futures are lower too, with the Dow Jones mini down 128 pts or -0.42% at 30061, S&P 500 mini down 26.25 pts or -0.7% at 3718, NASDAQ mini down 159.5 pts or -1.22% at 12946.
