Rents May Be Peaking

AUSTRALIA

Property Research Group SQM believes that residential rents may have peaked in Australia as they report increases in vacancy rates over the last three months in more than 20 regions, according to The Australian. CoreLogic have also released data showing that rents rose at their slowest pace this year in September up 0.6%. However, the increase in the immigration cap clouds the outlook for rents and could drive a further pick up.
