CHINA PRESS: Residential housing prices in China are expected to rise 7.6% y/y
over 2019, the China News Services reported on Thursday citing the latest Blue
Book on Real Estate issued by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. The
newspaper noted that prices in some key cities will significantly exceed this
expected level, which equates to an average price of CNY9,206 per square meter.
The forecast rise for 2019 compares with a 12.2% y/y increase in 2018, which was
significantly higher than expected, the newspaper said.
