EURO-DOLLAR: Retains a buoyant feel into the NY afternoon, the rate having
earlier extended its recovery to $1.0999 before momentum faltered ahead of
$1.1000. Rate reversed post 1600BST fix to $1.0971 but was seen picking up fresh
demand that has taken it back to $1.0987. Resistance remains in place into
$1.1000($1.0996 61.8% $1.1163-1.0727/intraday high), a break to expose the May1
high of $1.1018. Above here and next resistance levels noted at $1.1040 ahead of
$1.1060/65. Support $1.0938, $1.0920/00.
