OIL

Following Exxon’s news that it is trying to offload its 30% stake in Sakhalin-1, Rosneft said today that production at the project had almost stopped since May 15.

  • The last oil tanker left the De Kastri sea terminal on May 6 according to Rosneft.
  • "As of now, De Kastri reservoirs are 95% full, oil is not being offloaded (for exports)," Rosneft said.
  • Rosneft said last month production at Sakhalin-1 had fallen to 10,000 bpd form 220,000 bpd, blaming sanctions.
  • The Russian oil company also said they have no information on Exxon’s plans to offload its Sakhalin-1 stake.
