Reuters reporting that "OPEC+ is expected to maintain its current oil output policy at its March 2 meeting, despite a price increase following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, according to five OPEC+ sources".

  • Yesterday OPEC+ figures called the situation “complicated and volatile." The notoriously conservative organisation is unlikely to seek to engage in a knee-jerk reaction to shifts in prices at a time when rapid-fire newsflow from Ukraine is having such a significant impact on oil markets.
