Russia Discusses Ban on Fuel Sales Below Price Cap

Russia is discussing the possibility of banning sales of its petroleum products to those who adhere to the G7/EU price cap, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said.

  • The issue is being studied by ministries and companies, Novak said.
  • Russia’s oil output has remained stable so far in February and nears January levels, while refinery throughput is lower by several percentage points compared to January, he said.
