Russian Oil Production 1% Higher in Nov mom: Kommersant

Russian news outlet Kommersant has reported that Russian oil production is nearing similar levels to the beginning of the year at 1.48 million tons per day in mid-November and continues to also increase refining activity.

  • Exports to non-CIS countries have already begun to decline, falling by 5% compared to the same days in October Kommersant reports. The news outlet expects the December 5 oil ban to impact production and export levels.
  • Sources said that mid-November production of 1.48 million tons per day was 1% higher than a month prior.
  • The increase has primarily been driven by the return of Saklahin-1.
