Russia’s Piped Gas Flows To EU May Fall 36-39bcm YoY: Kpler

Russian pipeline gas flows to Europe could fall by 36-39bcm this year, compared to 2022 levels if supplies remain at current levels, Kpler said.

  • Last year, flows to Europe fell by 64bcm year on year.
  • EU domestic gas output is forecast to fall by around 3bcm this year from last year’s levels.
  • LNG availability in Europe could increase by around 19.5bcm on the year, and global LNG supply is forecast to rise by 4.7% on the year to 419mn tons in 2023.
