Russia’s Weekly Gasoline Production Falls While Diesel Rises

Weekly gasoline production in Russia was 744.1k mt, according to Rosstat, a fall of 3.2% compared to the previous week, TASS reported.

  • However, TASS did not confirm the exact seven-day period used in the statistics.
  • Meanwhile weekly diesel production rose by 1.3% to 1.497m mt.
  • Russia’s average consumer prices for both gasoline and diesel saw a fall on the week. Gasoline declined by 0.2% to 55.25 roubles/litre, while diesel fell 0.22% to 64.39 roubles/litre.
