EURO-STERLING: Saw a sharp recovery off earlier traded lows of Gbp0.8713 to
Gbp0.8753, as sterling was knocked about by comments concerning UK/EU customs
union extension beyond 2021. Rate has since eased back but seen meeting support
around its 61.8% retrace at Gbp0.8728. A move through here, then
Gbp0.8722(76.4%) to expose that earlier low of Gbp0.8713 ahead of
Gbp0.8705(61.8% Gbp0.8620-0.8843) with the base of the 1.0% envelope 10-dma
currently coming through at Gbp0.8694. Resistance Gbp0.8753/56 ahead of the
10-dma at Gbp0.8781.
