AUSSIE: Saw an early high in local trade of $0.7777 before it stepped its way
lower through the balance of Asia and into Europe. AFR earlier highlighted that
Perth silicon metal exporter Simcoa had been 'slammed' by a 51% US Govt tariff
(http://www.afr.com/news/economy/trump-administrations-trade-war-claims-first-au
stralian-victim-20180304-h0wylv), this despite an ABC report suggesting that
Trump had promised Malcolm Turnbull that Australia would be exempt
(http://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-03-05/trump-said-australia-would-be-exempt-from
-tariffs/9512612). Makes one wonder how firm the Trump promises on trade are in
recent talks supporting UK's Brexit negotiations. Support now seen into
Thursday's low of $0.7713. Resistance remains at the earlier high of $0.7777.
