Some fluctuations in USD/JPY following...>

DOLLAR-YEN: Some fluctuations in USD/JPY following the latest BoJ monetary
policy decision; initial dip to Y108.02 before a bounce off lows to Y108.21. The
Bank of Japan left its monetary policy settings unchanged, as expected, but said
it will re-examine economic and price developments at the next meeting. It also
noted that it pays closed attention to the risk of losing price momentum towards
the inflation target.
- USD/JPY last deals at Y108.11, 34 pips worse off. From the technical
perspective, the focus remains on the 100-DMA at Y107.99. A clean break below
would shift bearish attention to the 61.8% fibo retracement of the Aug slide at
Y107.46, also the low of Sep 16.
