CABLE: Sterling holds back off recently posted lows as traders turn attention
toward the release of UK Services PMI data on the half hour. Market median 54.7
vs last 55.1. Services PMI seen as the most important of the UK PMI set. EZ
Services PMI's were seen coming in below expected/flash levels. A miss on the
downside could apply another wave of pressure on the pound with the YTD low at
$1.2958 in view. A better than expected release would provide some immediate
relief to the current underlying negative tone.
