EQUITIES: Stocks/futures have bounced from their lows but remain under pressure,
with 2nd COVID wave fears rising over the weekend.
- Asian stocks closed lower, with Japan's NIKKEI down 774.53 pts or -3.47% at
21530.95 and the TOPIX down 39.9 pts or -2.54% at 1530.78. China's SHANGHAI
closed down 29.71 pts or -1.02% at 2890.031 and the HANG SENG ended 524.43 pts
lower or -2.16% at 23776.95.
- European equities are down, with the German Dax down 214.74 pts or -1.8% at
11737.4, FTSE 100 down 66.96 pts or -1.1% at 6037.59, CAC 40 down 61.51 pts or
-1.27% at 4781.86 and Euro Stoxx 50 down 60.58 pts or -1.92% at 3093.75.
- U.S. futures remain under pressure, with the Dow Jones mini down 624 pts or
-2.44% at 24915, S&P 500 mini down 61.5 pts or -2.03% at 2974.25, NASDAQ mini
down 165.75 pts or -1.72% at 9480.
