Strikes Could Cut France’s Refinery Runs By 515kbpd In March

FGE expects the impact of strike activity in France’s refinery runs to be 515kbpd in March, it said.

  • In comparison, Energy Aspects estimates runs to be reduced by 400kbpd, or 500kbpd including strikes at the Lavera refinery which had not been confirmed.
  • Loss in diesel output in March due to strikes is estimated at 230kbpd and gasoline supply is expected to be impacted by 120kbpd according to FGE.
