CHILE - Extremely strong session for the Chilean Peso yesterday. USDCLP sold off from 739 highs to close at 722.42. Another leg lower on the open this morning sees us down another 0.8% to trade at 716.80. The bearish outside day will assist the pair in targeting the most recent inflection point at 701 and the most recent lows of 693.

  • PPI on Friday the highlight of a very light domestic calendar.

Paraguay's central bank holds its first monetary decision meeting of the year after keeping the policy rate at 0.75% in December.

Argentina's YPF SA creditors may face an early deadline to tender bonds, while a coupon payment is also due.
