/TAIWAN: U.S. To Start Formal Trade Initiative Talks With Taiwan

US-CHINA

BBG headlines note that formal negotiations surrounding a U.S.-Taiwan bilateral trade initiative are underway. The Office of the U.S. TR has flagged that the discussions will take place early in the fall and will cover matters including trade facilitation, regulatory practices, anti-corruption standards and deepening agriculture trade, as well as other subject areas.
